English, a useful idiom but with a lot of exceptions.

English at university, I think it has been very useful; my biggest weakness is talking, the pronunciation, I can read almost anything and understand it, if I don’t understand a word I try to deduce it from the context, it works in large texts and large phrases but I doubt that it works in poetry, and for the writing I use phrases I remember from the novels I read. For those reasons I didn’t take the exemption exam, I wanted to improve my weaknesses and I think it worked. It helped that the teacher and classmates were friendly, at least I didn’t get bored in classes.

In regards to the blogs I think they are very useful, they help to know how to construct sentences about some things that are daily used and because of that they can help if we go abroad or meet a foreigner.

I use English almost every day. I read Asian novels, at the beginning I read the translations to Spanish but they were few, so on 2011 I decided to join a group of fans that translated from English, there I learnt quite a lot but translation was difficult for me because I link the English and Spanish words with images not between them, so I left the group. From then on I read the English translations and when I search information I can access to more sources. I also use English when I need things on Internet but not to the level of conversations, just requests. 

2015, I'm not very creative with the title today.

2015, a year I wasn’t expecting to come so fast, since 2012 all passed too fast, one day I was relaxing in my house during winter because my school was on strike, and then I was joining the university to soon be on strike again, It’s like nothing changed besides the place, people and the pass of the time, now it's faster.

It has been an interesting year, I chose sociology not knowing so much but I don’t regret it, thanks to that all has been a discovery, good ones; one of them was the assignments, I never met with people to do them, we always divided them and trust that the others were going to do their parts, and most of the work was copying from internet.

I had met new people, thanks to that I can say I know a bit more about poetry and that I found out that misfortune and clumsiness is the worst combination ever.

My biggest achievement was passing history, without glory but I passed, I lost some years with all the things I did to not fall asleep while I was studying. The other achievements are staying in touch with my old friends, and that I still have life outside university, at least sometimes, when the test are near, like now, is hard not to focus all on them.

About the rest of the year, I just want to finish the tests and do all I’ve been delaying because of them, as going out or read some novels.

Meeting classmates and reading

Hello!! Summer plans? Right now the only thing I want to do is to finish the the academic assignments and tests, then I’ll relax until the results are ready.

About summer plans, I don’t even know if there is a division between seasons now. I don’t have memories of rains in November during the past years, and now… you know the rest, I even got a cold a few weeks ago.

I’d like to read all the novels and comics I’m delaying, due to the assignments (sigh), the assignments aren’t boring but if I have to choose…

The only plan I have at the moment for summer is a meeting with high school classmates. We met a few weeks ago and decided to meet it in summer too. When? Nobody knows, but at some point. We have to get our revenge with the father of the host classmate, because the last time we met we had brought some hamburgers to roast and when he saw us, he began to laugh and then he disappeared, half an hour later, he showed up and put a bag with pork chops. Of course, we ate it; our hunger was bigger than our pride. But we decided to gather more money the next time to buy something even more delicious.

Maybe my family will go to the beach, we go almost every year after all, but lately I haven't been going. I don’t like the beach, so much sun, people and sand; I prefer the country-side.

Free topic= I don't know what to write

Hello!! I don’t know what to write so I’m going to talk about today.

Yesterday I found out that I had to make a video about myself talking about a journey so I planned to wake up at 8 o’clock today to do it. I wanted to break up my tablet when I heard the alarm but I didn’t.  I washed my face and then made videos until I felt satisfied with the result.

10 o’clock, I had to go to university. Once I arrived there I waited for some classmates to arrive and then tried to start a statistics assignment. We split the assignment in three parts and decided who was going to make each part. After we read Ig Nobel at wikipedia until lunch time.

We went to eat to the mall and then returned to continue the assignment, or that was the intention. We almost did no progress.

The English teacher arrived at 17 o’clock for God knows what reason and then we started the lesson, It ended one hour ago I don’t remember anything.

After thinking how to give the video to the teacher I found out how and gave it to him.

And here I’m now writing this and filling up until I write two hundred words to get it done.

Future job

Hello, here I’m supposed to write what’s going to be my future job or something like that. I don’t like to have a static idea of the future of things and it’s the same with my future job, instead of that I like to think about the possibilities.

I’m studying sociology. The reason I decided to do so was that I’d like to know what people think and why they do some things, and I think this career has many tools and knowledge to get to know that, and in school I took courses focused on mathematics and didn’t want that to be in vain.

I’m studying sociology, and from what I’ve heard, sociology has a wide area of action, social organizations, ministries, companies and the like. I don’t have a preference about the place I’ll work but I’d like travel a lot in my job or have the opportunity to live a long time in other country. Even then I think the office work will be inevitable, but it’s all in the way you do it.

I’d like to work on various kinds of projects; I think it would be boring to be focused on only one, I think it would be more interesting to know about all kinds of people.

My pets

The first pet I had was a hamster my mother bought me like a reward because I behaved well with the doctor. It was very funny, I and my brother used to let him out of his cage to see it run around the carpet, the only troubling thing was the noise he made at night. One day while my mother had him on her chest the hamster peed, two weeks later she gave the hamster to a coworker.

Our second pet was a little frog, it was difficult to get the special food he needed but it was interesting being responsible of another being. Three months after coming to our house it died of unknown reasons.

Our next pet was a river prawn, he didn’t even made it to our house before dying. Was our house cursed or something? Probably not, we moved away frequently.

The last pet we had was a rabbit my mother bought to my sister, he was more funny and fluffy than all the other pets but our mother had to work more hours at the time and we had to we give it to another family, my sister cried a lot but soon after she forgot he. 

Monstrous Chocolate

A few months ago I saw a video with my friends, there was a guy cooking a colossal chocolate of three kilograms. And we went “wow, we could do the same”.

Three weeks ago we reunited to cook this thing. We went to the supermarket and bought 4 kilograms of chocolate, super 8, bom bom, rocklet and peanuts. Then we went to my friend’s house, unpacked all we bought and began the “operation”.

We put the chocolate in a pot and cooked it at double boiler. Then we put some in a box covered with aluminum, over that we put some rocklet, over that some more chocolate and so on with the others thing. The final thing was a chocolate over four kilograms with various fillings. Then we put it in the freezer and waited for it to harden.
